Xiaoming Zhai received the NSF sponsored AI assessment conference. The conference will be held in UGA conference center, 2022.

Dr. Zhai, received 2021 NAEd/SPENCER RESEARCH DEVELOPMENT AWARDEES, will develop two sets of assessments that are aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards with varying critical cultural features

Xiaoming Zhai, an assistant professor in the Mary Frances Early College of Education’s department of mathematics, science, and social studies education, received the 2021 American Educational Research Association’s SIG-TACTL Early Career Award for his scholarly achievements.

Three assistant professors in the Mary Frances Early College of Education received the Provost’s Affordable Courses grant to financially support students’ educational resources. Out of 13 total projects, the College had the greatest number of projects selected for funding.

An assistant professor and three doctoral students in the Mary Frances Early College of Education were recently selected as 2021 Basu Fellows by the National Association of Research in Science Teaching (NARST).
